Lumary WFM - This article explains how to publish a roster period to the live Scheduling roster.
Shifts and sessions on a roster period don't appear on the live Scheduling roster until the roster period is published. Once a roster period is published, the status of its shift and sessions is set to Rostered. The roster period is no longer listed for editing on the base roster.

Before you begin...
To publish a roster period, you'll need to have created a new roster period or opened an existing roster period. We recommend that you also:
- Validate the roster period and check for violations. You can only publish a roster after you've run validation rules.
- Estimate award interpretation costs if you're using award interpretation features.
To publish the roster period:
- Click on the Publish button at the top of the roster period record.
- This will launch a Publish Roster Period popup. The popup may include alerts about unpublished roster periods that could impact the period you're publishing. Click on the OK button to confirm that you're ready to publish this roster period.
- The system will begin to publish the roster period. This may take a moment. Once the process is complete, click on the Close button.
This will take you to the live Scheduling roster.
Once the roster period has been published:
- it will no longer be listed as an option on the base roster's drop-down list, and
- its shift and appointment sessions will appear on the live Scheduling roster with a status of Rostered.
Once you've published a roster period to the live Scheduling roster, you can edit your shift and appointment sessions using right-click options.
