Lumary WFM - This article explains how to create an asset that can be assigned to shifts and sessions.
Lumary can be used to book assets against shifts and sessions, and manage an asset's availability.
Links at the end of this article go to instructions on how to add an asset to a shift, appointment, group appointment or accommodation.

To create an asset:
- Click on the App Launcher nine dot grid icon.
- Click in the Search apps and items... field.
- Type asset.
- Click on the Assets text link. This will take you to the Assets list view.
- Click on the New button.
This will launch a New Asset form. The fields on this form are described in the following table. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.

| * Asset Name | Add a name for the asset. This should be clear and specific as it's used by schedulers to find an asset to add it to a shift or session. For example, it may help to include the number of seats in a vehicle name. |
| * Category | Select an option from the drop-down list. This helps filter assets when adding them to shifts and sessions. |
| * Status | Defaults to Active. Only active assets can be scheduled. |
| Start Date | Defaults to today's date. Can be used to track when an asset went into service. |
| End Date | This can be left blank. Can be used to track when an asset was no longer in service. |
| Region | For providers using regions, can be used to specify which region the asset is available in. |
| Description | Text entry field. Can be used to store extra information about an asset. |
- Once you've filled in all of the mandatory fields, click on the Save button.
Once you've created an asset, you can add it to:
To edit or delete an asset:
- Go to the Assets list view.
- Find the row that lists the asset.
- Click on the drop-down arrow at the end of the row.
- Select Edit or Delete.
Assets that have bookings cannot be deleted. We recommend setting the status of assets that are no longer in use to Inactive.
