You can use the Tag Manager to create connections between client and worker tags (a process called tag join). These connections enable Lumary's rules engine to find workers whose skills and qualifications match a client's specific needs when you're rostering and scheduling.
For example, you might link:
- a worker tag "CPR Trained" (Resolved Tag) with a client tag "Requires CPR" (Required Tag)
- a worker tag "Speaks French" (Resolved Tag) with a client tag "Requires French" (Required Tag)
- a worker tag "Dementia Trained" (Resolved Tag) with a client tag "Dementia Support Needed" (Required Tag)

Link two existing client and worker tags
To join two existing tags:
- From the App launcher, search for Tag Manager.
- Select I want to link two existing tags (New Tag Join) and click Next.
- Complete the New Tag Join form as explained in the table below.

| *Existing Requiring Tag | Search for and select the corresponding client tag (for example, "CPR"). |
| *Existing Resolving Tag | Search for and select the worker tag (for example, "CPR Trained"). |
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
All tag joins are displayed in the Tag Manager list view. You can review and manage your existing tag joins from this screen.
Create a new pair of linked tags
- From the App launcher, search for Tag Manager.
- Select I want to create two new tags and link them (New Requiring Tag and Resolving Tag) and click Next.
- Complete the New Tag Set form as explained in the table below.
