-
find a suitable worker using the matching rule engine (if you're not sure who is best suited or available). Note: This option will only appear on roster periods or on the live scheduling roster.

Find a suitable worker using the matching rule engine
This option will only appear on roster periods or on the live scheduling roster.
A rule engine can help you identify workers who match the shift or session’s requirements.
To run a rule engine:
- Scroll down to the rule engine panel.
- Click on the Select Rule Engine to run drop-down list. The options available will depend on what’s been set up for your environment. They may include options for matching based on worker availability or the tags assigned to the worker.
- Select an engine. A description of the selected engine will appear below the drop-down list.
- Once you find an engine, click on the Run button.
This will provide a list of workers who match the rule engine. It may also list other information about the worker’s suitability or availability.
The Hide excluded workers field can be ticked or unticked to hide or show workers excluded from the results.
Click on the cross at the top of the panel if you need to close the list and run another engine.
Once you’ve run the rule engine, you can use the information to change workers or add a worker to the shift or session.
