Expense claims
Workers can now view and submit expense claims in the mobile experience. The Claim Expenses tab has been replaced with a My Expense Claims tab. The new page allows users to filter and review claims by date range and status — Pending, Submitted for Approval, Approved, Rejected, and Reimbursed. Users can raise new expense claims or edit and submit existing claims. (The option to attach files to existing claims will be available in the next release.) Approval comments are visible, making it easier to follow up and ensure timely reimbursement.
When viewing expense claims raised as part of travel and transport, approvers can now see the Worker Name and Date of Expense without navigating into the associated travel records. A new Submitted for Approval status has been introduced for Non-Labour Cost records which have a related Approval Request pending. This provides increased clarity for approvers reviewing expenses.
On-call logs
Users will now see a warning message if they create disturbances with overlapping times within the same on-call session. This helps prevent errors or delays when approving time worked. The warning disappears automatically once the overlap is resolved, making it easier to manage and review on-call work.
When entering a new On-Call Log, only current live sessions are available to log calls against. This reduces the chance of errors, ensuring that users cannot log on-call activity against draft sessions.
The layout for On-Call Logs has been revised, making it easier to view key details such as the caller, time of call, severity, and worker. This streamlined layout is consistent across both desktop and mobile.
Payday Super
Upcoming releases will include updates to support Payday Super requirements commencing from 1 July 2026.
Rostering and Scheduling
Create and manage base rosters in draft before publishing
This release introduces support for managing draft base rosters. When the draft roster feature is enabled, schedulers can create a draft of a new or existing base roster and make changes without affecting the active base roster, leave calculations or roster periods. This allows roster planners to build and review a roster before it takes effect. Once the draft is ready, it can be finalised and made active. If the draft is no longer needed, it can be deleted without affecting the currently active roster.
Newly created and cloned rosters will also now start as a draft version, and house roster changes are automatically associated with the latest draft base roster version. Only one draft version of a base roster can exist at a time, preventing conflicting changes from being made simultaneously.
To support this feature, several improvements have been made:
- The roster period dropdown list on a base roster now shows unpublished roster periods across all versions of the roster (previously and currently active).
- Each roster period in the dropdown list on a base roster now displays the base roster it was created from.
- Changes to an active base roster are prevented, as changes can only be made to a draft base roster.
This feature provides roster planners with greater confidence and control when making changes to base rosters, reducing the risk of errors being published to live schedules.
Bug fixes and other changes
Award Interpretation
Superannuation fund retrieval changes - A technical change has been made to ensure the Superannuation Fund retrieval scheduled job runs as expected. Part of this fix includes a tidy-up of APRA/RSA Superannuation Funds in your org based on updated data from the ATO.
Roster Period estimation fix - Breaks are now correctly included in the award estimation, preventing incorrect overtime calculations when a break is required. Allowance and higher duty session activities are also accounted for. This update ensures a more accurate estimate of roster cost.
Timesheet processing fix - We have resolved an issue where duplicate timesheet entries were being created for overnight worker appointments that spanned two timesheet periods, particularly when sleepover shifts included wake-up activities in the second period. Now, all timesheet entries for these sessions are correctly grouped into the timesheet period applicable to the worker appointment start time, preventing duplication and ensuring accurate payroll processing. This update improves reliability and reduces the need for manual adjustments for overnight shifts.
Workforce Management
Group attendance fix - We’ve fixed an issue where the Mark Attendance button was missing when using the mobile app, for group sessions linked to a shift. Workers will now be able to mark attendance as expected, ensuring a smoother workflow for managing group sessions.
Lumary Engagement Console fix - The Lumary Engagement Console will now exclude cancelled appointments when sending SMS notifications about late check-ins or check-outs. Previously, workers on approved leave were incorrectly receiving these notifications, which could cause confusion and unnecessary follow-up. Notifications are now only sent to workers who are actively rostered and expected to check in or out.
Rostered hours report extract improvement - Scheduled and finalised start and end times in the rostered hours report extract are now displayed in each worker's own time zone. Previously, all times in the export were reflected in the time zone of the user who generated the extract, which could result in misleading times for workers in different time zones. Schedulers and managers can now rely on the exported data to accurately reflect when each worker's shifts are scheduled, regardless of where the person downloading the report is located.
Rostering and Scheduling improvement - When rostering a worker, the system now correctly evaluates start and end date validations against the worker's own time zone, rather than the time zone of the logged in user (e.g. scheduler). This prevents scheduling errors that could occur for workers operating in a different time zone from the person creating the roster.
Rostering and Scheduling fixes:
- We have resolved an issue where the scheduling calendar displayed the status of Rostered when hovering over a shift or session that was already in progress. The hover-over now correctly reflects the current status of the appointment.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the first day of a roster period was not being counted in the worker’s rostered hours. The fix ensures that rostered hours are now calculated correctly across the full date range of the roster period.
We've fixed an issue where schedulers encountered errors when adding planned services linked to a block grant service agreement to sessions on the base roster, roster period, and live schedule. Schedulers can now add these services without errors, and only valid service agreement options are displayed for the selected client and session date (on roster period and live schedule), based on funded client start and end dates, ensuring a smoother scheduling experience when adding block-funded clients to rosters.
- The Estimate Travel button has been removed from the roster period screen. It was purely cosmetic and was part of a proof-of-concept design. This button is no longer required, and its removal streamlines the interface for schedulers.
